Tom Felton used his social media platform to pay tribute to his Harry Potter Helen McCrory, co-star and on-screen mom, after her tragic death aged just 52. As you probably know, Helen portrayed Draco Malfy’s mother Narcissa in the Harry Potter films.
The actress’s husband and co-actor Damian Lewis confirmed the sad news that she lost the battle to cancer on April 16.

“I am heartbroken to announce that the beautiful and powerful Mrs. Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home after her heroic battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of friends and family. She died while she was alive. Fearless.’
Then, earlier today, Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, paid a touching homage to the actress herself.
Tom posted a still image of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, where their characters were described together and in the caption:

“It’s so sad to say goodbye so suddenly – I never took the opportunity to tell her, but she really shaped me so much as a person – on and off the screen. She was adamant herself – razor sharp wit – silver tongue – kind and warm hearted – she had no fools but she had time for everyone – thanks for lighting the way forward and holding my hand when I needed it xx. ‘
Additionally, Jason Isaacs, who played Narcissa’s husband Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter, also remembered her in a long message on his IG account.
The actor shared the same picture as Tom, writing in part: “Decades ago Helen and I auditioned for a film together. I came home and said to Emma, ”I think I’ve just met the greatest actress I’ve ever seen.” After years of watching her fascinate all viewers, I don’t think anymore that … I know. Fortunately, I eventually found out she was funny too, shockingly naughty, and with such a sensitive heart the size of a planet. As fast as I was in the Harry Potter films, being married to the great Helen McCrory will always be a highlight. ‘
He went on to send condolences to Helen’s loved ones.
