‘Tim: The Official Biography of Avicii’ is expected this fall

Tim: The official biography of Avicii is expected to be released on November 16th.

The book was written by award-winning Swedish investigative journalist Måns Mosesson and describes Tim Bergling’s inspiring life and explosive career that ultimately led to his tragic death at the age of 28.

A press release states: “The book paints an honest picture of Tim and his quest in life, without being afraid of the difficulties he has faced.”

Mosesson aims to celebrate a “musical visionary whose sense of melody has loved him all over the world”. So he traveled to places like Miami, Los Angeles, Ibiza and beyond to see Avicii’s rise to the top and the lasting impact it had on the EDM industry.

The proceeds from the book will go to the Tim Bergling Foundation, a charity founded by Bergling’s parents to treat suicide as a global health emergency. The organization is actively working to remove the stigma associated with suicide and mental health problems.

April 20, 2021 marks three years since Avicii’s death.
