The Masked Singer: All the Clues You Need to Get Into the Season 5 Super 8

The masked singer’s wildcards are all on the table. Nick Cannon’s t-shirt cannon was used to its full potential. The judges have used the term “groundbreaking” or a variant of it approximately 5,000 times. You know what that means? We’re going into season five’s Super 8.

The eight remaining competitors – chameleon, Russian dolls, robopine, clam, black swan, piglet, crab and the just added wildcard yeti – will compete against each other on Wednesday to advance to the next round. In addition to introducing Yeti, last week’s episode showed some very good performances, particularly from Seashell and Robopine. At the end of the lesson, Orca was chosen to go home. When the killer whale’s head came off it turned out to be Sugar Ray’s singer and frequent TV host, Mark McGrath. (Read a full recap of the episode.)

Now, before episode 7 on Wednesday (Fox, 8 / 7c), we have collected what we believe to be the most important information from the premiere and summarized it in a practical guide. The goal: find out who is among these costumes well before they are revealed.

Throughout the season we’re updating the gallery on the right – go right here – with information from this week’s show and adding our (and some of your) thoughts on who’s among the costumes. So make sure log your thoughts, theories and evolving guesses in the comments section!
