The LaLaurie Mansion horror films by Spiral Director, Conjuring Producers

The series is based on the true story of a New Orleans killer.

It’s a good time to be a horror fan, seeing as yet another franchise is coming from the creators and producers of. was announced The incantation Series. Chad and Carey Hayes have named Darren Lynn Bousman to name the new franchise. to direct The LaLaurie mansion. Bousman has just come out of the recently released Spiral, as well as the last three Saw Movies. The Hayes brothers have already written the script and are being supported by Faster Horse Pictures as producers.

The LaLaurie Mansion will host a series of films about the haunted house of the same name in New Orleans. The film is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year and is slated to begin production as soon as possible, with some of the filming being shot on location. Based on the success of Spiral and The incantation: The devil made me do it Over the past year, it’s clear that we may have another profitable franchise in hand.

The legend behind the house began with its resident, Madame LaLaurie, a celebrity and serial killer who tortured and murdered slaves in the 19th century. If this sounds familiar, you may remember the third season of American horror story, in which Kathy Bates portrayed the real dolphin LaLaurie. LaLaurie escaped and evaded authorities during a fire in 1834, and it is unclear what happened in the later years of her life. The mansion burned down but was rebuilt to its current appearance.

Bousman is a prolific horror director who is believed to be behind the success of the hugely popular Saw series, having directed four out of nine films in the franchise. He is also the director of the underrated cult film Repo! The genetic opera, a dark rock opera with Alexa Vega and Paris Hilton. In addition to The LaLaurie Mansion, he has several horror films in the works, including an untitled thriller set in the world of flash mobs, a film about two scammers freaking out NY apartments, and a science fiction film that follows a special follows Ops Team fighting an alien race.

The LaLaurie Mansion will most likely start filming shortly, so we will likely have more casting and production news soon.
