Saweetie says she feels "disrespectful" after the brand new track was launched early

On Friday December 4th, the rapper "Tap In" went on Twitter to share her frustration on Warner Records, claiming they had released her latest single, "Best Friends" Doja Cat earlier than expected.

"I am very disappointed with my WBR label that they released a single early that I was looking forward to," wrote the 26-year-old. "I don't feel respected. I'm busy with ALL of my creatives and had such a dope rollout for" best friends ". The thirst for clout & $ is real and overrides the art of the artist."

She then tweeted herself, adding, "The wrong version on this smh. How wtf ???" In a later tweet, the star shared, "We put so much work into the visuals and spent days shooting this super-cinematic girl's hymn. And for that to happen? Wow …"

The song has since been removed from all streaming platforms. E! Warner Records was asked for a comment.

The song "Best Friends" is the third single from Saweetie's highly anticipated debut album "Pretty B — h Music" after "Pretty B — h Freestyle", which was released in July, and "Back to the Streets" . With Jhene Aiko in October.
