Atlanta police have charged the brother of rapper Quando Rondo, who is currently being treated in an Atlanta hospital, with the murder of the Chicago rapper King Von.
Police said Saturday afternoon that 22-year-old Timothy Leeks was hospitalized with a gunshot wound, where he was later arrested for the murder of King Von.
Timothy, who is believed to be the "brother" of rapper Quando Rondo, was shot dead during the same incident that killed King Von. Police believe Quando Rondo's crew and King Von's crew got into a shootout that resulted in King Von's death.
Timothy was arrested after Von and two others were shot and witnessed by off-duty police officers who had an additional job in the Monaco Hookah Lounge.
According to them, two groups of men started arguing with each other outside the lounge, and the disagreement quickly resulted in an exchange of fire between the two groups. The off duty officers confronted the men, but were unable to spread the situation, and more shots were fired.
Quando Rondo, a popular NBA Youngboy rapper, took his brother to the hospital for his gunshot wounds. The video was recorded on IG. Look:
Police said they found three suspects with gunshot wounds who were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
So far, however, the police have only announced one murder charge for Leeks.
