Music producer Pierce Fulton dead at 28

Members of the dance music community share their grief over the loss of the producer Pierce Fulton.

The DJ passed away on Thursday April 29th at the age of 28. HandleGriff announced on Pierce’s social media channels on Monday, May 3rd.

Pierce was born in Vermont and became famous in 2014. His single “Runaway” topped the Billboard Emerging Artists charts. In the same year, his song “Kuaga (Lost Time)” reached number 38 on Billboard’s Dance / Mix Show Airplay Chart and was part of a Smirnoff ad.

“Waiting for tomorrow”, his 2018 tune with Martin garrix that showed singing from Mike Shinodalanded at number 26 on Billboard’s US Hot Dance / Electronic Songs chart.

“Pierce was incredibly full of life, love and unimaginable creativity,” wrote Griff in the statement. “He loved you all so much and wanted to give you all that he had; and he had so much to give.”

His message also encouraged anyone struggling with mental health problems to seek help.
