Rapper DMX is still in intensive care after a massive heart attack – and he can die any day. When he finally passes into the afterlife, many hip-hop fans expect a HUGE tribute to the legendary rapper.
But MTO News has learned that there is a growing chorus of feminists and LGBT activists pushing to cancel DMX.
The activists are concerned that some lyrics from DMX songs could be considered homophobic and anti-female.
The activists seem to be focusing on two DMX songs in particular. First the hit “X Is Coming”, a hardcore rap that graphically describes a rapist’s warnings that he will seek revenge.
The lyrics describe the rapper who raped an underage girl:
“And if you have a daughter older than 15, it’s me [going to] rape her, “intoned DMX.” Take them seriously on the living room floor right in front of you / D * ck Action, what are you going to do? / Frustrating, isn’t it? You want to kill me but i am [going to] kill you / now watch me fuck just a little more, please right? “

Another song with controversial lyrics is his hit “Where The Hood At”. In it, DMX seems to make derogatory comments against gays and trans men. Here are some of the lyrics:
The last time I heard was that you niggas have sex with the same sex
I don’t show love for gay thugs
Empty, reload and throw more slugs
How are you going to explain how to fuck a man?
Even if we crush the beef, I won’t touch your hand
I don’t sleep with fools for those who have been in jail
This is the cat with the Kool-Aid on his lips and pumps
I don’t fuck with n * ggas who think they’re wide
Just know how to be a way, that’s the dog
MTO News confirmed that the LGBT and feminist community is mobilizing a “Cancel DMX” campaign on Twitter that is gaining momentum.
