Shock G, the famous lead artist of the Digital Underground and the man behind the hit “The Humpty Dance,” was found dead in a Florida hotel, MTO News has learned.
According to Shock G’s father Edward Racker, who spoke to TMZ, the rapper was found dead in his Tampa hotel room.
The cause of death is unclear, but there was no sign of trauma. Shock’s father says authorities will do an autopsy.
A friend of the legendary rapper speculated on social media that Shock G may have had a massive heart attack. His fans and boyfriend are pretty much convinced that the 57-year-old rap star wasn’t a drug user. They hope to end any overdose rumors that may be surfacing online.
